From the experience and passion of the Di Stasi family in growing vegetables comes the eponymous company, located in the Ofanto Valley on the border between Puglia and Basilicata, a territory renowned for its particular soil and climate characteristics. In the 1990s, the strong uniformity of the market drove the company to focus on the quality and wholesomeness of agricultural products and it built a facility with modern refrigeration systems, as well as hi-tech and cutting-edge processing and packaging lines. Perfect harmony between the territory and production facilities guarantees extremely fresh fruit and vegetables, whose unique organoleptic properties are preserved thanks to production flows completed in the space of twenty-four hours. Following precise planning, in line with customer demand, cultivation is inspired by the principles of agricultural good practice, allocating the land best suited to the various types of vegetables, taking into consideration the broadest possible crop rotation and optimal environmental and soil
and climate conditions. The aim is to grow a product with premium organoleptic properties, within the framework of sustainable agriculture. A staff of highly-qualified agronomists assist member farms in applying integrated production procedures. Di Stasi has for some time focused production choices on premium-quality standards in terms of both organoleptic properties and food safety.

Di Stasi produces and sells different types of fruit and vegetable products: broccoli, cauliflower, coloured cauliflower, Romanesco cauliflower, green cauliflower, Savoy cabbage, turnip tops, white and green celery, chard, asparagus chicory, chicory and percoca peaches. The traceability of the entire production chain is guaranteed by checks on origin and the methods used, in compliance with integrated production rules that safeguard the environment and guarantee food safety.
The company strongly believes in product and system quality and has obtained Global Gap, Spring, Grasp, INPS quality network system, Biologica and IFS certification. In 2019, Di Stasi founded the company Verde Lucano Bio, with the aim of growing and selling exclusively 100% organic products, in particular, chard, broccoli, cauliflower and green celery.
